Blue was the colour of the night at the 64th annual Emmy Awards in Los Angeles as the great and the good of the small screen gathered to celebrate another year of television.
It was a big night for Modern Family as the Showtime favourite took four gongs, and it seemed fitting that star Sofia Vergara glammed in the style stakes too.
Wearing a glitzy Zuhair Murad gown with a mermaid tail finish and reverse-halter neckline, the actress dazzled on the red carpet.
Model Heidi Klum followed the colour trend, opting for 'sea foam' as she looked stunning in a low-cut Alexandre Vauthier gown, complete with thigh-high split.
Hayden Panettiere also plumped for a blue draping gown as she looked more mature than her 23 years in a Marchesa gown.
Meanwhile actress Nicole Kidman, who attended with husband Keith Urban, wore a blue sequin designed Antonio Berardi dress.
And British favourite Michelle Dockery looked as glamourous as Downton Abbey's Lady Mary in a satin Louis Vuitton gown with lace top.
Other stars joining the blue belle brigade included New Girl Zooey Deschanel, Maria Menounos, The Good Wife actress Archie Panjabi and Jennifer Westfeldt.
