With the debut of “Liz & Dick” quickly approaching, Lifetime network released a behind-the-scenes look of the highly anticipated made for TV movie.
In the clip, Lindsay Lohan discusses her appreciation for the character, explaining, “I’m a huge Elizabeth Taylor fan and I can relate to her on a lot of levels. Living in the public eye and dealing with the stress of what other people say, whether it’s true or not.”
The 26-year-old also compared herself to the famed Hollywood icon, saying, “I personally understand Liz because you’re living your life for everyone to see, and people are growing with you. You get to a point where you become numb to it and you just live your life the way you feel you need to live it.”
When it comes to Lohan’s work-ethic, her co-star Grant Bowler – the man behind Richard Burton – said, ““Lindsay’s excellent to work with. She’s pretty much Elizabeth Taylor reincarnated.”
