Okay. This explanation is a LITTLE more believable than his last!
Chris Brown shocked the world by tattooing a face on his neck that looks incredibly similar to his old flame, Rihanna. His peeps have been emphatically denying that he meant the ink to resemble his ex and said it is simply supposed to be some "random woman."
The controversy really got kicking once some sources pointed out stretched similarities between the new tat and RiRi's battered face after her 2009 assault, but now his rep has come forward to settle this once and for all!
No, it is not a picture of Rihanna and it is DEFINITELY not a picture of her bruised face after he abused her. Turns out that the tattoo is an artist's rendition of a "sugar skull" design from a makeup adertisement, as his rep explained:
"His tattoo is a sugar skull and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported."
It's meant to be a commemoration of Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos — otherwise known as Day of the Dead. If U want proof, check out Brown's inspiration for that phat tat (below)!
