Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge and future queen of England, should hold her head up high. She has nothing to be ashamed about after being caught by a photographer sunbathing topless on a secluded estate in France.
The wife of Prince William is setting the Internet on fire after French gossip magazine Closer, published more than a dozen photos of her poolside with and without her bikini top.

The Duchess, who is a perfect size 2, dazzled in a gold-embroidered Alexander McQueen gown at an official dinner hosted by Malaysia’s Head of State Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah of Kedah on Sept. 13.
On the same day, William and Kate got word that the photos would be published in France and expressed outrage at what Buckingham Palace termed a “gross invasion of privacy.”
But in Europe topless sunbathing is so accepted most women don’t think twice about removing their tops on public beaches. Middleton is widely considered a fashion icon thanks to her toned, supermodel physique and easy elegance and is very cosmopolitan.
Still the publication comes only weeks after Prince Harry was photographed nude with a nude woman at a raucous party in his hotel suite in Las Vegas. The palace said both incidents were invasions of privacy.
The willowy five-foot, ten-inch tall Kate is a fitness fanatic works out an hour a day and eats small portions to stay in shape, giving rise to rumors after she lost weight for her wedding that she had an eating disorder.
“She’s never had an eating problem; she’s just extremely disciplined,” said a source. “Kate works out for at least an hour a day and loves to stay slim and toned. She’s quite figure-conscious and she’s very aware that the camera adds a good 10 pounds.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plan to sue for breach of privacy against the publishers of Closer magazine for publishing the topless pictures of Kate, London’s Daily Mail reported.
