Sofia Vergara's ass proved to be a bit too much for her turquoise Zuhair Murad gown at the Emmy's last night ... after her dress split open ... right over her famous sexy ass!
The "Modern Family" hottie who looked stunning in a dress that had her looking like a mermaid on the red carpet, suffered a wardrobe malfunction just 20 minutes before she and her "Modern Family" cast had to take the stage to accept their big award.
“Yes!!!! This happened 20 min before we won!!!! Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!," Sofia tweeted from her WhoSay account along with a pic of the back of her busted dress and sexy thong.
"20 min Modern Family won!! Dress malfuncion !!! Thank you emergency team!!!," she later wrote ... thanking her wardrobe team for helping fix her gown before she headed onto the stage to collect the Outstanding Comedy Award for "Modern Family" for the third consecutive year.
