We spent three very enjoyable nights at Apartment Lana in Split, Croatia.
We arrived about lunchtime, but as we hadn’t been able to let the owner know the time of our arrival, we went to the apartment to see if there was a buzzer or any way of letting them know we had arrived. No luck. So we wandered to Villa Diana which we’d seen on the walk to the apartment for a drink.
The waiter let us use his phone to call the 
apartment owner, who soon arrived to take us to the apartment. The owner of the apartment was very friendly and she even payed for our drinks, which was very nice of her.
Our studio apartment at Apartment Lana in Split was in a really good location, within easy walking distance of the old city, and a few minutes to the beach.
The studio apartment was on the top floor of a small property, it was modern, nice and clean, and compact, but it had everything we needed, although a washing machine, and free WiFi would have been nice.
The owner was welcoming, she gave us a map of Split, on which she marked lots of interesting local places, and she made suggestions for excursions etc.
She also showed us where everything was in the apartment, and gave us her mobile telephone number, telling us we could contact her anytime we wanted if we needed anything at all.
Our studio at Apartment Lana in Split was very comfortable, the bed was large with a good mattress, there were lots of spare supplies, including towels, loo paper etc.
The TV had only a few channels, but three of them had the occasional English language film on.
The air-conditioning unit worked well, the studio apartment was nice and peaceful.
The only negative thing about our stay at Apartment Lana in Split, Croatia, was the hot water. Unfortunately there was barely enough hot water for one person to shower, which was not good. It took about half an hour for the water to reheat again.
Despite the lack of a washing machine, free WiFi, and the hot water issue, we really enjoyed our short stay.
