The “Friends” star kept us waiting a good two months to see her engagement ring after Justin Theroux popped the question in August – but when she finally did show it off on Monday, boy, was it huge! Jen’s sparkler is a whopping 8 carats with a radiant cut center diamond worth about $500,000, according to jewelry designer Peter Meksian.
Paris Hilton: 24 carats
When the hotel heiress got engaged to Greek heir Paris Latsis in May 2005, she was presented with a ring that had a carat for every year of her life … yep, that made it 24 carats (and $4.7 million). The rock was so big, Hilton actually complained to her fiance that it was too heavy, so he bought her a Cartier band to wear instead. But just four months later, her finger got a lot lighter when the two broke things off.
Kim Kardashian: 20.5 carats
Little did NBA player Kris Humphries know that when he proposed to the reality star in May 2011 with a 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz ring, the $2 million price tag would come out to $97,560 for every day they were married. And when Kim ended things that October (just 72 days after the couple tied the knot), she refused to give the bauble back. “It’s a gift — you keep a gift,’ her mother Kris Jenner told “Good Morning America” at the time. “I hate an Indian giver.”

History repeated itself in November 2010 when Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton with the same 18-carat sapphire stunner his father, Prince Charles, gave to his mother, Princess Diana, in 1981. “This was my way of making sure that my mother didn’t miss out on today,” Wills said at a press conference afterwards.
Mariah Carey: 17 carats
Nick Cannon’s wife has a whopper of a ring to match her larger-than-life personality. Not only is it a $2.5 million 17-carat sparkler, but it also exudes girliness with an emerald-cut pink center diamond surrounded by 58 (yes, 58!) intense pink diamonds and two half-moon rocks on either side.
Angelina Jolie: 16 carats
In April, Brad Pitt gave his longtime love an engagement ring with enough carats to cover their six kids – plus another 10. The “Money Ball” actor designed the $500,000 bauble himself along with jeweler Robert Procop. The process took a full year.

Nothing says “I love you” like a million dollars! That’s what pro hockey player Mike Comrie spent on the whopping 14-carat radiant-cut diamond he gave to Disney darling Hilary Duff when he asked her to be his wife back in 2010.
Khloe Kardashian: 12.5 carats
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom may have rushed into marriage, but it looks like he put some real thought into the engagement ring he gave the reality star just two weeks before they tied the knot in the fall of 2009. The Los Angeles Clippers forward dropped $850,000 on a 12.5-carat radiant cut diamond at L.A.’s Vartan’s Fine Jewelry.
Heidi Klum: 10 carats
They may have split nearly a year ago, but during happier times in late 2004 Seal proposed to “Project Runway” host Heidi Klum with a 10-carat canary yellow diamond set with a yellow pave band. The “Crazy” singer reportedly spent $150,000 on the sparkler. – Yahoo
