Chris Brown has released a statement to confirm he has split up with Karrueche Tran. In the statement he reveals he didn’t want his friendship with his ex – girlfriend Rihanna to ‘hurt’ her.
The singer, who has been spotted with Rihanna in recent weeks several times, has fuelled speculations that they may have reconciled.
Since the reports have been mounting that Chris has split from Karrueche, he explained his decision in a statement.
In the statement released to GossipCop, it read: “I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna.
“I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
