It’s been a rough couple weeks for celebrity couples. First Will Arnett and Amy Poehler split, officially ending the funniest marriage duo in years, and now Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman, the world’s most quirky and strange couple – who have stood the test of time at a whopping 30 years of marriage, have reportedly called it quits.
Although no official statement from their reps has been made, sources are saying that 5’0 Devito’s “wandering eye” may have been the catalyst to the end of the relationship, saying that he often flirted (and maybe more) with young, beautiful actresses that were attracted to his wealth and charisma.
The couple, who have three adult children together, met in 1970 when Devito was performing in the Broadway play “The Shrinking Bride,” and moved in together only two weeks after dating. They starred together in the TV show Taxi and the children’s movie Matilda, where they played husband and wife.
