Did NICK JONAS Write A Song About Ex-Girlfriend MILEY CYRUS ...

Did NICK JONAS just write a song about ex-girlfriend MILEY CYRUS? Celebrity gossip websites are currently speculating about the Jonas Brothers’ new song, “Wedding Bells”, which seems to be about the youngest Jonas brother’s former love, who is engaged to be wed to present boyfriend LIAM HEMSWORTH.

As most of you Miley fans out there may know, before the “Hannah Montana” star became happily engaged to Australian hunk Liam Hemsworth, she was in a very intense, on-again-off-again relationship with her “first love,” Nick Jonas.

But Nick broke her heart after the last time they got back together (in 2009) following her split from Justin Gaston, and the couple finally ended things for good. And in that same year, Miley fell in love and started dating Liam, whom she met on the set of “The Last Song”.

Nick has dated a few women since—including Australian singer Delta Goodrem—but it seems that the singer still has strong feelings for his ex, because “Wedding Bells”, one of the new songs off the Jonas Brothers’ upcoming album, seems to have been written precisely for Miley.

Ignoring the obvious clue that the song is entitled “Wedding Bells” and Miley recently got engaged to her boyfriend, the song also contains lots of clues in the lyrics. The first of which goes:

“She says, ‘Can you keep a secret?

A ceremony’s set for June

I know it’s a rush, but I just love him so much

I hope that you can meet him soon.’ “

Miley and Liam didn’t get married in June, and they haven’t set a date (that we know of, anyway) yet so the lyric doesn’t exactly fit, but the couple did announce their engagement in June, so that might be what Nick is referring to in the song.

The second clue doesn’t necessarily pertain exclusively to Miley, but it does hint that the person Nick is singing about is someone he has been in a relationship with before, and that they tried several times to make it work.

“I don’t want to love, if it’s not you

I don’t want to hear the wedding bells bloom

Maybe we can try one last time

But I don’t want to hear the wedding bells chime.”

And finally, here are the lyrics that contain the smoking gun that points directly at Miley:

“Pardon my harsh reaction

You put me on the spot

And if I’m being honest

I’m hoping I’d get caught

Showing you I’m all happy

Not letting you see my truth

Cause if you recall our anniversary falls

11 nights into June

For those of you who don’t know, Nick and Miley met on June 11, 2006. And according to Miley, that is also the same day they became a couple… which makes their anniversary June 11.

Back in 2008, the “LOL” star told Seventeen magazine:

“[Nick and I] became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met.”

Well? It’s pretty obvious that it’s about Miley, right?

Before singing “Wedding Bells” for the first time at the Jonas Brothers reunion show at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, Nick told the audience:

“We’re in the process of recording a new album, which is both good and bad… [we had to] dive into subjects that make us uncomfortable and write about them. … You have to write a song and apologize for it later. I don’t think I’ve ever written a song that makes me as uncomfortable as this song does.”

We wonder if Miley and Liam feel as uncomfortable about it as Nick does?
