Rihanna and Chris Brown have been slowly doling out tidbits about the closeness of their relationship over the past few weeks, until finally letting everyone (sort of) know last week that they’re back together. After Chris Brown made his split from model girlfriend Karrueche Tran public, he was seen spending time with Rihanna in New York City. Now people close to the couple say they could elope or already be married, according to EntertainmentWise today. This comes as Rihanna's appropriately titled latest album "Unapologetic" is set to be released next month.
The pair spent three nights out on the town together in NYC, and Chris was even spotted sneaking out of Rihanna’s hotel suite. Chris Brown publicly broke it off with girlfriend model Karrueche Tran in a statement he released citing his fondness for Rihanna and not wanting to let that hurt Tran.
Brown then recorded and released a drunken confessional video in which he purports to love both women. All of this may be an orchestrated way for Rihanna and Chris Brown to break news of their reconciliation slowly to the public.
It’s not hard to understand why they might be apprehensive about going public with their love after all the media attention foisted upon them after Brown infamously battered Rihanna in 2009.
Teasing the media with sightings of the themselves together, mysterious recorded videos, cryptic tweets and other innuendos could just be their way of delicately reintroducing themselves to the world as a couple.
Even Oprah helped pave the way for us to accept them as a couple again after her explosive interview with Rihanna. When told of the rumors that the Rihanna and Chris Brown were getting together again she told Extra that she supports Rihanna in her life decisions. You can’t do much better than getting the okay seal of approval from Ms. O. (lol)
Today’s report says the two have been “hooking up” for months and only recently let the rest of us in on it. Insiders are concerned that now that the path is clear, the two may get super serious and decide to elope.
“No one close to them would be a bit shocked if they suddenly eloped,” a source told “Star” magazine. “Rihanna has told her close friends point blank - I would marry Chris”. They also revealed that Rihanna has said they wouldn’t have even parted ways if the media scrutiny didn’t get as intense as it did after Brown assaulted her.
Rihanna's new album “Unapologetic” will drop Nov. 19, according to The N.Y. Daily News. One can’t help but notice that the title would be totally appropriate should these marriage rumors prove true.
The two are both very passionate and when they party, they often talk about marriage. Sightings of the pair together have been scant since the Jay-Z concert they attended last week, but the source says don’t be surprised if they’re already married.
