Spammers are certainly nothing new in this world. Technical writers have to deal with an abundance of Spam each and every time they work their way through different projects, especially if it involves open-source research on the Internet.
Several of my blogs have been targeted lately and, due to the fact that I moderate everything, I've caught quite a bit of it (all of it, actually) before it was posted on the blogs.
There is a spectacularly persistent Spammer who ran the count up well over 1,140 comments at one of my blogs. Here, you can see me working through them, bored as usual, but glad that I'm not removing them one at a time from an already-published blog post.
