Moria Casán is an Argentine television host, producer, actress, media personality and leading scout but these days she is in trouble. Recently Jeweler Manuel Benítez Gill had loaned a set of sapphire necklace and earrings to Casán for a show at the Conmebol conference on July 27 this year. But unfortunately this set worth $82, 000 went missing after Casán reportedly took off the necklace in her dressing room in the presence of the jeweler, to pose for a snapshot with him.
Though, the sapphire necklace in question appeared mysteriously in the chambers of Alberto Sosa, the magistrate in the small town of Luque but many of the precious stones on this jewelry were missing. The judge ordered experts’ reports to determine the authenticity of the jewels.
Even jeweler Manuel Benítez Gill will check whether it is the same set of sapphire necklace and earrings that he loaned to Casán.
Casán, along with her former manager Luciano Garbellano, and Aldo Alexis Sotto is accused after the jeweler had reported the necklace set has gone missing. So even if the sapphire necklace has been returned by an anonymous person trouble for Casan is not over. According to one of the prosecutors, if the given object (sapphire jewelry) is returned, it must be done in the same conditions. As in this case many of the gems are missing the criminal status of Moria Casán remains the same.
