Singer Melissa Ethridge wed actress Tammy Lynn Michaels in a September 2003 commitment ceremony in Malibu (but were never officially married under California law), and the pair separated in April 2010. Tammy, with the help of an anonymous sperm donor, gave birth to their twins, son Miller and daughter Johnnie Rose, on October 17, 2006.
They finalized their separation settlement this past June after about two years of endless mudslinging and court battles. Tammy claims she gave up millions of dollars and a lucrative career to raise their children. While Melissa claims that Tammy only wants full custody to be able to get child support and that she exposes the children to second-hand smoke which is detrimental to their health.
As part of the couple’s post split settlement, Melissa is obligated to pay Tammy $23,000 per month along with 50% of the royalties from songs Melissa wrote the 9 years they were together. Tammy complains on her blog site, Hollywood Farm Girl that Melissa’s check hasn't arrived in the mail yet this month and Christmas will have to be cancelled.

Tammy also went on the attack, implying that Melissa had cheated on her when Melissa's new lover, Nurse Jackie creator Linda Wallem, moved into their home right after Tammy moved out in November of 2009. Wallen, by the way, had been long-time friends with the couple and was even Etheridge's "best man" at their wedding.

i want to clarify without dealing with getting sued for SLANDER (and paying someone), which would include me saying that the two were involved while I was living there (it is still my house, by the way). and i haven't gone just that far yet.
