American TV personality, Bethenny Frankel and her husband Jason Hoppy have called it quits after approximately three years of being a married couple. Frankel released a statement on Sunday confirming the split between her and husband Jason, she said: “It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating. This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family.”
The statement continued with: “We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority, this is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.”
News of the separating comes after months of speculations that the couple’s relationship was on the rocks. Earlier this summer, Frankel admitted that she was fighting for her marriage, which was filmed for and documented on her Bravo reality show Bethenny Ever After.
Frankel and Hoppy got married in March of 2010 when Frankel was seven months pregnant. The family was recently spotted out together in New York, even as rumors swirled that a split was imminent.
