LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Bethenny Frankel, Jason Hoppy break up is confirmed today. Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have split, seeking separation only two years into their marriage. This was Frankel’s second marriage. She was previously married to Peter Sussman. The news follows recent reports about Bethenny Frankel net worth following the Skinny Girl sale and details of a major TV syndication deal.
Frankel and Hoppy showed their love, marriage, and child raising on various Bravo shows. But in recent weeks, Frankel was the subject of looming divorce reports. On Sunday, that breakup was confirmed. Frankel, in a news statement moments ago, confirmed that the couple’s marriage of two years is over. “This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family.” She said that breakup is confirmed with “great sadness.” “We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.”
Frankel and Hoppy met in 2008. Less than a year later, the couple got engaged. And then in March 2010 they married for the Bravo special Bethenny Getting Married. The couple showed excessive disagreements during their subsequent show “Bethenny Ever After.” The show also failed dramatically in the ratings while Frankel told news that she would not return to reality tv programming again.
Frankel recently inked a lucrative TV deal with Fox Stations to air her syndicated daily talk show “Bethenny”. The show will air next year for a complete first season after a test run in 2012. When asked by Andy Cohen recently, Frankel said the show has been green lighted for next year but with no debut date yet confirmed.
