Six years after splitting with Kim Kardashian, Nick Cannon came clean last week during an interview with Howard Stern.
Asked about his 2006 relationship with the actuality star, Cannon actually had glowing things to claim – but additionally admitted that the infamous Kim Kardashian sex tape was responsible for the couple’s demise.
“She told me there has been no tape,” Cannon said. “If she could have been honest with me, i would have tried to carry her down and be like ‘That was before me,’ because she is a smart girl.”
Cannon went directly to label Kardashian as “one of several nicest people you’ll ever meet,” but emphasized that the lie did them in.
The America’s Got Talent host – who has two adorable kids with Mariah Carey, Monroe and Moroccan – also made the beautiful accusation that Kim may need played a task within the Ray J video release.
Kim was “a great businesswoman” he said, adding: “And I still think she may have even had a component to play with [it going public].”
