Daily Traveler : Cond Nast Traveler


Until recently, there’d been plenty of pioneering Italian and Californian chefs in Todos Santos (an agricultural and fishing village cum surf mecca on the lower Baja Peninsula), but a notable absence of those from other regions of Mexico. This winter, though, I noticed that this is beginning to change. Edurne Ferrer and Daphne Moyorga (from Mexico City and Michoacan, respectively) have opened an ultra-stylish food truck, La Chulita, that serves the best ceviche I’ve ever tasted. Their ingredients are not only the freshest possible (I’m sure their considerable charm does not hurt relations with the local fishermen) but also inventive and insanely delicious. See the photos…
