Jennifer Lawrence Putting Oscars at Back of Mind

JENNIFER Lawrence is putting the thought of winning an Oscar to the back of her mind.
The actress, 22, has been nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, and although she would love to win she is trying to keep her excitement in check.
“It’s very important to separate work from your personal life,” she said.
“If you don’t separate it then it blends into your personal life. For my career — yes I hope, knock on wood — that I win but I don’t have a personal interest in it.
“I am not going to cry myself to sleep if it doesn’t happen. I’m still going to be happy, I’m still going to be me, I’m still going to have my friends and I will be fine.”
Jennifer was pleasantly surprised when she got the nomination, her second after being nominated for Winter’s Bone in 2011, and is proud to be included in a list that also features Jessica Chastain, Emmanuelle Riva, Quvenzhané Wallis and Naomi Watts.
“It’s really exciting but it never sinks in. I am so in the zone when I am working that when you hear it, you are like ‘Wow’. I know what an honor that is,” she said.
