It's set to be one of the biggest snowstorms in a century, and it's even caused Katie Holmes to put her work commitments on hold.
The actress was forced to cancel a fashion presentation on February 8 after Blizzard Nemo caused school's to close early.
Katie was due to be showing off her new fashion line alongside designer Jeanne Yang, but when Suri Cruise's school decided to shut, Katie had no choice but to go and collect her daughter.
According to People, the 34-year-old spent Thursday "kicking off her heels with fashion editors in a New York City hotel suite to present the latest elegant collection" but Friday was a rather different story.

However, Jeanne no doubt understood where Katie's priorities lie, as she is a mother to twin girls herself.
The pair's latest collection is unlikely to siffer due to this little setback, and Jeanne has been very open about how she and Katie came up with the designs.
“Our customer is somebody who wants to be comfortable” she told People.
"You want to look good, but Katie and I always talk about this, it should never come at the cost of comfort.”
Meanwhile, Holmes told the New York Times, their goal is “to make high-quality pieces that are simple enough, you can wear over and over again.”
