Peeta and Katniss may have some onscreen romantic tension in The Hunger Games, but in real, the pair of besties.
While at DirecTV's Seventh Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl in New Orleans, Life & Style chatted with Josh Hutcherson, who dished on his pal Jennifer Lawrence and her tough break up with Nicholas Hoult.
"Me and really all of Jennifer's friends have been there for her," he tells Life & Style. "Jennifer's great. Everything's happening for her with the awards and everything. I couldn't be more proud of her."
As Life & Style reported, Jennifer and Nicholas broke up in January after dating two years.
"They're young and grew apart," the 22-year-old actress' pal tells Life & Style. "But they remain friends."
So what about a future love interest? "It's got to be someone amazing because she's amazing," Josh shares.
Speaking of romance, the 20-year-old actor even reavealed his philosophy on love to Life & Style.
"I think it’s a thing that happens with two people and it’s like, you love them for loving you and vice versa," Josh, who will star in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire with Jennifer in November, says. "It has to be a very mutual kind of [thing]. It can’t be like weighted to one side or the other. It has to be a very mutual exchange."
Swoon. We love a guy who's in touch with his feelings.
