There's parenting and then there's over-the-top incredible parenting in the best way possible.
This is an example of the latter.
When the Bogert family's child Elizabeth Anne decided to transition to male and took the name Kai, they were nothing but supportive.

They were so supportive they made a cute, funny birth announcement retraction in the Brisbane Courier Mail, apologizing for claiming their son was their daughter! It read:
"A retraction – Bogert –
In 1995 we announced the arrival of our sprogget, Elizabeth Anne, as a daughter. He informs us that we were mistaken. Oops! Our bad. We would now like to present, our wonderful son – Kai Bogert.
Loving you is the easiest thing in the world. Tidy your room."
That is seriously so adorably sweet we can barely handle it!!
